WHAT STEPS ARE YOU TAKING TO STAY HEALTHY FOR MY EVENT/SESSION?
As I’m certain everyone is, I am following extensive hand-washing protocols (my favorite song to sing is Lizzo’s Truth Hurts) throughout the day. I work from home, have no children (which, not gonna lie, is super helpful), and am limiting my exposure to unknown variables by having zoom meetings rather than in-person chats. I’ve always been a big Amazon buyer, so nothing has changed in the way I shop- it all just comes to the house. 🙂 I’m staying positive, as you should, and trying to facetime and Marco Polo my friends as needed in order to avoid cabin fever.
CAN I CHANGE/RESCHEDULE MY WEDDING DATE?
Yes.
As long as I’m available for you new date, all monies paid will be credited towards your new date.
However, because there are only so many wedding dates available (weekends during nicer weather months), I do strongly suggest trying to reschedule your event for a date before May of 2021, to avoid any possible rate increases. Weekday weddings can also be a great option any time of year.
This epidemic has hit us all very hard. Please understand that if all of my clients moved their weddings to Summer/Fall of 2021, I would be out all revenue for 2020 and lose all potential revenue for new clients for those dates in 2021.
WHAT IF WE DECIDE TO JUST ELOPE?
That’s great too! As with rescheduling, all payments made up to the moment of rescheduling will be applied to your elopement package. If you were having a large wedding and now have opted for a small elopement somewhere out of town, my travel and/or lodging may already be covered- just ask!
WHAT IF I CANCEL MY WEDDING?
This is for sure a difficult time for us all. If you decide to cancel your wedding entirely, you will be refunded all payments made beyond your initial 33% reservation fee.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE COVID-19 ON MY WEDDING DATE?
As is the case with any other emergency situation, I will use the extensive network of photographers I have to find another photographer with equal skill set to replace me. I will work (remotely) with your new photographer to ensure a smooth transition for your wedding day. All images will then be edited by me in my style, so you’re sure to love your images.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE COVID-19 BEFORE MY FAMILY/PORTRAIT SESSION?
I will notify you at the first onset of symptoms, I’ll self quarantine and we will reschedule to a time when everyone is healthy. I’m very flexible with rescheduling.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY FAMILY/PORTRAIT SESSION LAST MINUTE DUE TO COVID-19?
We will simply reschedule for a later date. Even if you have to contact me an hour before your session, it’s OK. The most important thing is that we take care of one another and sty safe.
