country fair engagement

Last Friday I had the awesome opportunity to share my first time at the Puyallup Spring Fair with the lovely Cassie and Emily, who are getting married this Fall. Cassie is a true country girl (in case you doubt me, check out that bad-ass belt buckle she won for showing a prized steer!) and the fair seemed like the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.  We started the day off at their place so that we could get a few snaps of their furry kiddos, Oliver and Baby Kitty.  How handsome is Mr. Oliver in that tie? After a bit of cat wrangling, we hopped in Cassie’s country-girl truck and drove out to the Fair.  These girls were such great sports- diving into sawdust, riding crazy rides and playing loaded carney games!  Cassie even won Emily a few prizes while popping balloons with darts. There’s really nothing sweeter than winning your best girl a stuffed toy at the fair. 🙂 We had a blast eating and drinking our way through the fairgrounds (next time Emily, I promise to try the fried pickles!) and these two were SO much fun to hang out with!  I cannot wait for Emily’s bridal session coming up later this Summer and what is sure to be a fun-filled, gorgeous wedding in Leavenworth this October!!  Love you ladies and thanks for the cotton candy!!  xoxo, Amy
