Gorgeous, beautiful, fun, sweet, charming, inspiring, delightful, magical, heartwarming, marvelous, glorious…there are just simply not enough wonderful words in the dictionary to describe Emily and Mikaila’s absolutely lovely Woodland Meadow Farms wedding. On a stunning July day in Snohomish, these two lovelies threw an amazing party for all of their closest friends and family and stood together to proclaim their love. Usually in these wedding posts I recall many of the cool elements of the day, like the fact that both brides wore their mother’s wedding dresses or how rad their Air Jordan “reception” shoes were, however today I have a bit of a deeper message. I say all the time how lucky I am to do what I do; having the honor of documenting love in all of it’s many forms, especially in this current political climate, is an absolutely wondrous thing that I do not take for granted. Even when the world seems bat-shit crazy, I have the privilege of a job that not only allows me, but in fact requires me, to witness love and joy and happiness like this on a weekly basis. I cannot overstate how blessed that makes me feel. Em and Mikaila, united you are a paragon. You are exactly what this world needs and what everyone hopes to find- perfection in the imperfect.
