Amidst the bustling noise of a crowded bridal room, Gina gently tugged on her daughter’s wings to be sure they were snug and promised her that she’d get her wand very soon. This was the wedding I’d been so excited about for the past few months.  Alex and Gina were finally tying the knot in a unique and beautiful ceremony in the round at Twin Willow Gardens in Snohomish. They planned their wedding specifically for the Summer Solstice, as it’s thought that in this longest day of the year, light and life are abundant. At mid-summer, the Sun God has reached the moment of his greatest strength. His union with the Earth Mother Goddess is the promise of abundance, and she manifests as a pregnant Mother Nature.   Gina wore a beautiful gown in white with black lace and red stone accents with ruby red slippers to match her lovely red bridesmaids. Her daughter’s one request when the wedding was first mentioned was that she be able to wear wings, and so the Ring Faerie was born. Those of you who know me know that my favorite weddings are those that are unique and extremely personal to the couple. This wedding was precisely that. Massive kudos to Jen with Taylor’d Events Group for putting together such fantastic group of vendors in order to create this inspiring and beautiful day! Much love to Gina, Alex and their families!!! xo, Amy
