Today I’m going to keep the post sweet and to the point, just like this couple. J & H were married at the eclectically awesome Urban Light Studios in Greenwood. Before their ceremony we met up at Greenwood Park for some portraits of just the two of them. I absolutely love the combination of H’s cobalt gown with J’s white and black dress, such a cool idea. After a little romp around the park, we were off to their ceremony site. Urban Light Studios has got to be one of the funkiest and unique venues in Seattle. They had every thing from a stuffed lion and small library to antlers on the wall and a full kitchen. They even branded J & H’s names and wedding date into one of their wall panels!! Branching Inside Out did their florals and I especially like the use of herbs in the arrangements as well as their mirrored bridal bouquets which when held together created a heart. SO sweet!! Aside from this gorgeous couple, their amazing families, and crazy-fun friends, my favorite thing about this day was the food. Duos Catering did such an amazing job of preparing so many yummy yummy snacks. And while I normally would trip my own father (sorry dad but it’s true) for the last crab cake, it was the chicken & waffles on a stick that had me drooling this time. SO. GOOD. But enough about what I loved. When I asked H & J what they loved most about their day, they had this to say…
“We loved getting to celebrate with all our favorite people in the world! Our friends and family are so spread out; it was absolutely amazing to have everyone at the same place at the same time. Our wedding felt all about love. It felt like everyone was so supportive, excited and giving of their love. It was radiant.”
A big big congratulations to these two and their families. This was such a beautiful affair, inside and out, and I am so honored to have been a part of it. You’re beautiful!!!
