Katie and Jesse were married last month at the gorgeously lush (and super-Pacific-Northwesty) Trinity Tree Farm in Issaquah. We got a bit of a rain scare in the morning, but by the time their first look rolled around the rain had stopped and gave us just enough time for some fantastic photos in the trees with their family and friends. I love how green everything is, which sounds sort of dumb because, duh, it’s a tree farm. But seriously, there’s just something magical about a forest of evergreens, especially when you get to photograph beautiful people in them. From the moment I met Katie and Jesse, I knew their wedding was going to be an absolute blast. It’s easy to see the love radiate from these two and difficult not to immediately feel the love yourself. Simply being around them seems to instantly evoke a smile on your face.
I loved all of the gorgeous attention to detail throughout the day- from the mid-ceremony toasts to all of the beautiful table settings and floral arrangements at the reception. There was a delicious dessert bar with cheese cake bites, s’mores fixins- even peanut butter cups! Plus, who doesn’t love glow sticks?! After a full day of beauty, warmth, and fun, Bugsie Productions got the dance party started and everyone boogied the night away. Huge hugs of love and thanks go out to Katie, Jesse, their friends and family for putting on this incredible event and allowing us to be there to capture all the fun. xoxo, Amy
