This is this completely wonderful wedding of Lindsay and Tyler.  Leading up to wedding day I heard the one word many of us wedding professionals hear leading up to the big day: Pinterest-  and boy did Lindsay deliver!  I was absolutely crazy for all of the amazing details they created to ensure that all aspects of their Sun Mountain Lodge wedding truly represented each of them.  From the sweet bunting and AMAZING dessert table that Lindsay worked so hard to create to the bicycle (that’s a gear on the boutonnieres!)  and plane details (Tyler is a pilot), everything just seemed to fall into place. Even the Aspens on the property (and the leaf on the boutonnieres) were nods to Tyler’s life in Colorado.

There were almost too many cool ideas to mention… I loved the playing of ukelele’s to start the ceremony and their idea of passing their wedding rings from guest to guest, allowing everyone to pass along their own silent blessing during the ceremony.  They also did a coin flip to see who would say their vows first (it was Tyler). Not to mention coming back down the aisle while guests threw their programs folded up as paper airplanes AND their guestbook being an actual plane propeller!  I’m telling, too much awesome!!

I’m so incredibly thankful for Lindsay and Tyler for sharing this beautiful day with Lucas and I. This was definitely one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve been to all year and we had such a wonderful time partying with all of your friends and family.  Big big congrats on such a heart-felt and beautiful wedding day and much love for a wonderful future together!

xoxo, Amy

PS… Another big thanks has to go out to my amazeballs second-shooter Lucas-  for braving 11+ hours in my car, 10 hours of shooting, a scary late-night thunder/lightning storm (which he slept through) and a torrential downpour on the way home all while singing Eminem, Taylor Swift and Backstreet with me in more traffic than I’d like to remember. Like I said, he’s awesome.  xoxo, A
