This past Sunday was my favorite wedding show of the year, but it’s no ordinary wedding show.  This is the type of show that clients and friends come back to year after year, bringing their friends and family. Why on Earth would someone want to attend a wedding show once they’re already married you may ask? Because it’s not only a wedding show, but it’s the best wine tour around.  Not only do you get to be driven to seven different wedding-decorated venues and meet some of the most talented and coolest wedding vendors around (that’s right- no driving thanks to Butler Seattle!), but as you do so, you get to listen to great music, sample incredible desserts, eat yummy appetizers and drink reeeeaallly good wines.  Each venue you visit has a wedding planner who hand picks a team composed of a single DJ or band, caterer, baker, photographer, jeweler, videographer, rental company, etc. to create their own unique theme for that venue.

This year I had the pleasure of joining Taylor’d Events Group once again in capturing this year’s theme of “Modern Bohemian” at Novelty Hill Januik Winery. I loved how Taylor’d Events worked with Cort Rentals and Fena Flowers to use copper accents and the jewel tones of amethyst, pink tourmaline, amber, and emerald to transform this modern winery into a lush, bohemian wedding space. I’m especially drooling over the gold-lettered geode place cards. Fena incorporated peonies, orchids and calla lilies with bright greenery along the reception table and combined hanging copper lanterns with olive branches and other fresh foliage to create a stunning chandelier. Over 700 guests sampled many of Novelty Hill Januik’s award-winning wines and mouth-watering appetizers while dancing to fantastic music by Bugsie Productions and indulging in incredible cake bites courtesy of Midori Bakery.  I seriously cannot tell you how many people stopped by my table simply to ask if I’d tried the passion fruit cake. Like heaven in your mouth! We had super cool gift baskets by Pink Blossom Events and intricate wedding suites and other paper products created by Perfect Press Invitations and both brides and grooms alike flocked to T. Anthony Jewelers to try on some of the most stunning and creative wedding and engagement rings. Our stunning model, Ann, was the perfect canvas for makeup and hair by Paperdolls NW and beautiful lace gown and shrug from I Do Bridal. Every year this show seems to outdo itself and this year was no exception, I only wish I was able to visit the other 6 venues on the tour to see the magic our other planners and their talented teams produced.  Check out photos from Wedding In Woodinville at Novelty Hill Januik Winery as well as our full list of NHJ vendors below and if you’re planning on getting married next year (or have friends who are!) do not miss this show next January!  Like I said, it’s the best w̶i̶n̶e̶ wedding tour around!! xx, Amy
