While I feverishly attempt to get several of my pending weddings and engagement session prepped for the blog, I thought I’d share this morning’s family shoot. I met up with Gretchen and Kerry, their son Carson and adorable schnauzer Buddy (collectively the “McWakes”) for a quick family session out in Edmonds. Admittedly, it was a blustery day for a beach shoot but isn’t that how all of us Washingtonians remember out family trips to the beach anyhow? Carson shoveled sand and Cary skipped stones while Buddy and Gretchen enjoyed being highly fashionable in the late Summer chill.
I love hanging out with this group, even when Carson hold out his hand and strongly tells me “no more pictures” in true anti-paparazzi fashion. A big thanks to these guys for braving the chill and clouds early on a Sunday so that we all had time to get home for the Seahawks game and check in on our early morning fantasy football match ups. 🙂 Looking forward to a pumpkin-patch session next month!!
Much love! xoxo, A
