Last year I got to know a bit about a fantastic organization called Kindering.  Founded in 1962 by five Bellevue-area mothers of children with disabilities, Kindering is the only early intervention center serving urban East King County. It is the largest intervention center in Washington State, one of the three largest centers in the nation, and notably the most comprehensive.  It is an amazing organization, one that my dear cousin, Erin, is greatly involved in.  It’s because of this fantastic place, and Erin, that I was able to meet Erika and her family.

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing her ridiculously adorable and super fun family.  It was such a joy to hang out with this sweet family on a cool Saturday morning, their love and happiness just jumps out of their photos.  This is one of those families that seem to make you a better person just by being around them.  I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire morning!  No kidding, I noticed my face actually hurt a little once I got home…  🙂

A big thanks and lots of hugs to Erika, Brendan, Luke, Peter, and the rest of the family for allowing me to capture all the silliness and giggles!

xoxo, amy
