This Summer I finally got the opportunity to photography a wedding at the intimate and magical JM Cellars in Woodinville. This is such a lovely venue, not to mention a whopping 5 minutes from my house. 🙂 Our stunning bride, Victoria, works part time at JM and I’ve actually seen Joaquin pour a glass or two when needed. Before I go on about this beautiful day, I just have to say what you’re all thinking- HOT DAMN that’s an amazing dress!!! Right? Maybe even my favorite of the year, simply stunning! Not to mention the bouquet!! Another 2013 fav!
Victoria and Joaquin were married in a beautifully intimate ceremony at JM Cellars this Summer, joined by their adorable puglets Seymour and Charles. Seriously, there’s not much cuter that a little squish-faced dog in a bow-tie… except maybe TWO squish-faced dogs in bow-ties! I loved how stylish, yet laid back their day was. I mean, it was Penguin themed!! How can you not relax when your wedding theme is PENGUINS!? It was wonderful. No rushing, no stress, just a beautiful couple, wonderful family and friends, and two happy pugs. Oh, and I can’t forget all of the wonderful food and wine! The talented girls over at Lady Yum fashioned my ever-favorite dessert (especially when made by them!), french macarons and the wood fire pizzas were TO DIE FOR. There were s’mores, dancing, drinking and laughing, all under the Summer night sky and the wonderful Italian lights of this romantic venue.
Much love and big thanks go out to Victoria and Joaquin (as well as Seymour and Charles!) for sharing your absolutely stunning wedding with me! Happiest of holidays to you and all the best for the New Year! xoxo, Ames
