Hello Hello!

Once again I was privileged to be a part of Weddings In Woodinville this year.  This exclusive showcase is one of my absolutely favorite wedding shows for so many reasons; the venues, the food and the wine, the fact that it’s always on a non-football Sunday… but most importantly it’s super fun! This show brings together tons of talented wedding vendors from around the area and allows you (future brides and grooms) to plan your wedding in style while Butler Seattle chauffeurs you from one stunning venue to the next as you fill up on amazing food and award-winning wines and spirits. Engaged or not, that sounds like a pretty fantastic Sunday to me.  This year I was overjoyed to be chosen for the second year in a row to join the crazy-talented team of Jennifer Taylor and Alex Chalk with Taylor’d Events Group at Novelty Hill Januik Winery in celebration of “Warmth”.  Jen put together another impeccable team of vendors this year to meld the charming shine of copper and organic colors of marsala and pale pink with lush florals to turn this beautiful modern winery into a stunning palette of rustic ambiance.  Laurel’s Floral Decor did such an amazing job helping bring this vision to life with lavish bouquets of orchids and succulents.  If you weren’t able to join us this year, let me just give you a taste…

As you weave through the elaborate table settings and pretty ballgowns, pause a moment to taste the treats at Kelly’s Chocolates, but be sure to wipe your hands before stopping to try on a little bling with T. Anthony Jewelers.  You’ll have your mind blown by master magician, Nash Fung and your taste buds tickled by the custom ice-cream sandwiches of Street Treats.  Grab some bubbly with BevMo and help Heather with Chic Ink decide which rhinestone buckle would look best on your dream wedding invitations or head over to the corner where they’re pouring a tasty rose and chat up Brian with Wave Link Music about your favorite wedding cover by The Clash.  Let the ladies with The Heathman Hotel help you with your overnight plans and debate the best lash treatment for wedding day with Kathy Evans Beauty Studio. And if all this “rustic ambiance” simply isn’t your thing, that’s OK too!  Just head on downstairs to the Redhook 12th Man Lounge where you can watch the artisans of San Juan Cigars hand roll stogies, learn how to play craps with Lucky Lady, or grab some tasty beer and a little chili while you wait for your turn in 321 Foto’s fun booth. Oh, and don’t hop on that shuttle to the next venue without tasting the epically creative and equally delicious culinary mastery of Midori Bakery.
